We want your experience at Fresh Talk Network to be pleasant, educational and fun; never difficult or confusing. The following info should answer your questions and help you navigate our site.

I. Introduction:
Our site and our Mission: Fresh Talk Network is a website dedicated to a healthy, prosperous earth; and a healthy, prosperous lifestyle for its inhabitants. This site mixes Talk Radio, Social Interaction, debate, news, discovery and entertainment, all together in a multimedia format on the World Wide Web.
YOU are an Important Part of this: We are very proud of our Community. It’s integrated into our site and designed to be an interactive social site everyone can join for free. You can start your own blog, share, chat; upload your favorite videos, podcasts and pictures. You’re also encouraged to enjoy and participate in the live programming on our “Talk Radio” pages. You can call or IM-chat with our hosts and other Talk Show listeners during the shows. If you can’t catch our shows live, they’re immediately made available in our Archives area for on-demand listening, download and podcasting.
II. HOW TO LISTEN
Our Talk Radio Shows and Podcasts are available 3 different ways for Windows and Mac users: Windows users need Flash and Windows Media Player installed. Macintosh users need Flash; and either Windows Media Player, or Audion.
Live Stream: We run a “live stream” mix of our programming 8-hours a day. This mix includes *new programs as they happen, *featured past shows and *featured Podcasts from our Community members (free).This live-stream is accessed from any of our Talk Radio Stations. Just go to the menu-bar of any page, click on the Talk Radio menu tab, and choose any of the four different Radio Stations on our network: Green-Talk-Network; Healthy-Life-Radio; Business-Buzz-Radio, and Joyful-Radio. You can also access our live-stream player by clicking on the “Listen Now” button at the top of most of our pages on this website on the right side of our banners.
Of course, any live-broadcast shows you miss are always available for on-demand and download and Podcasting after it is completed and posted in our Archives (see below).
On-demand and Downloadable mp3 Archives: Each time a host produces a new show (see “Live Stream” above), it is quickly uploaded to our archive servers and available for your access 24-hours a day; either as an on-demand streaming archive or an mp3 download. These archives are available from each show-host’s FTN mini-site. Visit our Talk Radio page or any of our four Radio Station pages (see list above), and click on our host pictures. You’ll be sent to that host’s Fresh Talk Network mini-site.
Podcasts: Podcasts are simply mp3’s available for download but delivered to you in an exciting, almost automatic way. You need a free program called a “podcatcher” or “aggregator” that you instruct to “subscribe” to these mp3 podcasts (ours are all free) using “RSS” links. Popular aggregators are iTunes, Juice and others. Those with Yahoo or Google (Gmail) accounts can use their “readers”.
We’re not experts at Podcasting, so if you want to learn more about it, you might some of these sites: how stuff works, iTunes, About.com. Or, just type “Podcasting” into your favorite search engine.
III. Our Community:
It is our intention to spark healthy, positive debate, the exchange of ideas and information by providing our site with the Talk Community.
While allowing a reasonable exchange between our hosts, staff, and Talk Community members, we simply must insist that everyone behave and not resort to attacks, slander, name-calling or foul language. Please. We ask anyone who encounters or suffers inappropriate posts or behavior to please notify us immediately. Anyone found to be indulging in such behavior will be banned from further membership.
IV. PERSONAL SAFETY:
We must insist that you guard your personal information (phone number, location, address, name, etc) and NOT reveal this information to anyone through this site. The internet is a wonderful tool and a terrific way for us to interact; but we want everyone to be safe. Please be cautious.
